Workshop For International Students Miami State High School

We're passionate about empowering the multicultural community in Gold Coast, especially the younger generation. That’s why we deliver workshops at schools where we talk about the culture shock theory, how to navigate Australian culture and support services available for new arrivals. Our lovely Soraya from the Youth Advisory Group, Student Placement Blu, along with Isabela from the Community Development team, led an engaging session with international students from Miami State High School. Seeing how they engaged and actively participated in games where they learned more about Australian culture was amazing.

Our Community Development team has delivered these workshops to schools since last year and raised awareness about cultural differences. Well done team!
