Multicultural Seniors Program
Our Multicultural Seniors Program is dedicated to supporting seniors aged 65 and above from diverse cultural backgrounds. We aim to help them build stronger connections within their communities, especially those facing social and personal support barriers, as well as celebrate their cultural background. Seniors are particularly vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness due to different factors, such as the loss of friends and family, reduced mobility, or lower income.
We work to increase seniors' awareness of healthy lifestyle options, reduce social isolation, facilitate connections with our different programs and other service providers, and host information sessions and link them to the services they need, such as applying for seniors card, seniors health card and My Aged Care services. Our goal is to improve their wellbeing, knowledge and quality of life.
