Schoolwork Support Initiative
To continue supporting our community and families in their efforts to succeed and have a better future, we offer free tutoring to kids who need extra help with their schoolwork and for those who face challenges in their learning journey. Schools can't always provide all the help students need, so our MCCGC Volunteer program fills the gap. Families can come to us for the extra support their children need.
Our wonderful volunteer, Marlyz, is working with one of our students to improve his reading and writing skills. She is a teacher and is trained to support students who struggle in school.
One of our students' moms shared, "This program is so important for improving my son's writing and reading skills. It gives him better opportunities for the future. He enjoys the sessions and has improved a lot. I encourage other parents to engage with MCCGC and seek help for their kids."
By offering this support, we aim to create a better future for our children and ensure they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
We are very proud of our volunteer Marlyz for her passion for supporting our multicultural community. Well done!
