Practical Day at Strategix Training Centre
Last week, our Cert III in Individual Support students enjoyed a practical day at Strategix Training Centre in Loganholme. Following the instructor training, they had hands-on experience with essential equipment. They learned the use of patient hoists, skillfully transferring individuals from beds and even from the floor in emergency scenarios. They also learned the transfer of people between beds and wheelchairs and using a slit sheet for bed movements.
Our students left with big smiles and invaluable skills. Thank you to Marcela from our Employment and Training team for organising the training.
