Nowruz Celebration Persian New Year

Our lovely Fatemeh and Leila from the Community Development team had a great time at the Nowruz celebration, the Persian New Year, organised by the Iranian Cultural Group. This holiday marks the triumph of light over darkness, the arrival of spring, and a new beginning, with a focus on themes of renewal, rejuvenation, and unity.

During the celebration, attendees enjoyed vibrant stalls, flavourful food, and beautiful performances showcasing Persian heritage. Our team highlighted that it was great to see families, friends, and the Persian community united in celebrating renewal and inclusivity and experiencing engaging activities that transported them and brought the essence of Persia to life.
