Harmony Week Miami and Southport High Schools
Our Community Development team visited Miami and Southport High Schools to celebrate Harmony Week. The schools prepared beautiful stalls with important and educational information for their students and ran insightful activities and games to improve their knowledge of diversity and inclusion.
At the Southport State High School, we had our lovely Youth Advisory member Giselle sharing a powerful speech about the origins of Harmony Day and her own life experience as a migrant in Australia. This was an amazing opportunity to promote inclusiveness and acknowledge the importance of embracing cultural diversity.
