2024 Break the Patterns Conference
It was a very insightful day on Thursday last week during the 2024 Break the Patterns Conference hosted by the Multicultural Families Organisation Inc.-SARA Program and the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre. We were honoured to be part of the planning committee and support the organisation of this important event.
The discussions focused on improving community safety, systemic responses, and raising awareness of the intersectional barriers faced by women, children and families from CALD backgrounds experiencing domestic and family violence.
As service providers, it is crucial for us to engage, stay updated, and learn how we can better support the multicultural community. Participating in events like this helps us improve our services and ensure we are meeting the needs of those affected by domestic violence.
