2023 National Settlement Conference

Our lovely Settlement Case Worker Suheir Gedeon attended the 2023 National Settlement Conference Building the Future Together organised by the Settlement Council of Australia SCOA; the conference welcomed 80 speakers and 450 attendees. The National Settlement Conference is the premier event for the settlement sector and all partners in government and academia. It brought together a wide audience to discuss how to optimise Australia’s social infrastructure so that all people of migrant and refugee backgrounds belong, thrive and have fulfilling lives.

The conference provided valuable insights into settlement challenges and strategies, fostering a collective effort to build a better future for refugees by improving the settlement process and empowering them to thrive and belong.
